The Global Sales Engagement Strategist Role

 

The Global Sales Engagement Strategist role is a key contributor to the overall lead management process and the management of technology tools utilised by Marketing Operations, Marketing, Demand Centre (BDR) and Sales teams. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Global Demand Operations and Technology and will be working strategically across different business units. 

We are seeking a creative, data-driven sales engagement strategist to lead the development, governance and performance optimisation of Salesloft, our primary sales engagement tool.  This role is at the intersection of content, operations and enablement – ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time. You will partner closely with Content Ops, BDR Enablement and Marketing stakeholders to manage and evolve our global library of engagement cadences and drive measurable impact through insight-led iteration.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

Salesloft Cadence Strategy & Content Governance 

  • Intake and prioritise messaging needs from Content Ops, Product Marketing, and BDR Enablement 
  • Manage the full lifecycle of Salesloft cadences – from creation to retirement - including email templates, social touches, and call scripts 
  • Ensure all content is up-to-date, well-tagged, and aligned to funnel stage, persona, and product focus 
  • Maintain centralised governance standards across content type, tone, branding, and compliance 

Stakeholder Alignment & Collaboration 

  • Act as the strategic liaison between content creators, enablement teams, and end users 
  • Facilitate feedback loops and ensure cadence content reflects current campaigns, offerings, and GTM messaging 
  • Partner with regional teams and content ops to validate and roll out localized cadences 

Performance Analysis & Optimization 

  • Monitor cadence usage, engagement, and performance metrics (open rates, replies, conversions, etc.) 
  • Identify underperforming cadences and develop recommendations to improve message effectiveness 
  • Report on usage insights and trends to BDR Enablement, Marketing, and leadership teams 

Continuous Improvement & Innovation 

  • Proactively surface messaging gaps, performance issues, or emerging content needs 
  • Support pilot programs or A/B testing to validate new messaging approaches 
  • Contribute to long-term strategies for evolving cadence use across new segments (e.g., Sales, Customer Success) 

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • Deep understanding of cadence development and campaign messaging best practices
  • Demonstrated history of implementing / optimizing / maintaining Sales Engagement Platforms (SalesLoft, Outreach, HubSpot, etc.) 
  • Experience partnering with content creators, enablement teams, or regional stakeholders 
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills 
  • Good working knowledge of lead management, inbound and outbound processes 
  • Ability to interpret data and translate performance insights into content action plans 
  • Proven ability to prioritize, work independently within a fast-paced environment 
  • Self-driven with ability to work independently, but works well as part of a larger group 
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Experience training users on usage of technologies and generating documentation for process flows 
  • Prior experience with sales operations or enablement roles 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally between teams (IT, marketing, sales, marketing operations) 
  • Strong knowledge of CRM (Salesforce.com preferred) 
  • Strong knowledge of Sales Engagement platforms (Salesloft preferred) 
  • Languages: Business level English mandatory, other relevant languages would be an advantage
